The Third Peer Support Network Event

After three years working together, the OPTIX program comes to an end. OPTIX program partner institutions convened in New York for a four-day meeting called the 3rd Peer Support Network: Future-Proof Your Financial Institution. The event gave these institutions an opportunity to showcase their hard work and the key lessons in developing and piloting approaches to improving and broadening their product mix. The event included product demos, simulations, group discussions, and visits to other financial inclusion actors and fintech startups in New York City.

The OPTIX team met with the four institutions to discuss updates on their pathways progress. There were discussions and activities around customer engagement behavior, financial technology and impact measurement.

The First Peer Support Network Event

Cali, Colombia

The first “peer support network” event in Colombia reunited all four institutions to offer the opportunity to reflect on their learnings from the client research and compare how the research will inform their respective cross-sell strategies. 

The opportunity to exchange information with peer institutions which are not competitors was very attractive to the institutions.  BFA facilitates the organization of such global events and brings industry experts that can share on topics relevant to the institutions at that point in time.
