Dr. Ashirul Amin (Senior Associate @BFA)

Ashirul is a Senior Associate at BFA, specializing in forensic portfolio analytics of financial institutions, which provide savings and loan services to low-income clients. His work informs discussions around client segmentation, product sustainability, savings behavior and cross-sell by utilizing custom-built algorithms.

Maelis Carraro- Senior Associate @BFA

Maelis is a Senior Associate at BFA. Her work focuses on business models and technology innovation to bring financial services to excluded communities. She focuses on product development and business strategy for financial service providers and fintech startups. She heads the OPTIX program, helping financial institutions digitize and build better product portfolios for their low-income customers; as well as Catalyst Fund, an accelerator for early stage inclusive fintech startups.

Krishna Thacker- Asia Regional Director @MetLife Foundation

Krishna Thacker is the Regional Director for MetLife Foundation in Asia. He is responsible to further MetLife Foundation’s mission and commitment towards financial inclusion and financial health in the Asia region. Krishna brings more than 12 years of hands-on experience in working with a wide range of financial inclusion institutions in Asia including public, private banks, and central banks.
